Back in April, Lauren drove up from Wilkesboro, NC to meet me in an empty parking lot in Blowing Rock, NC at 5:30 in the morning. Sounds like the start to scary movie but it’s not! We hiked up the side of Beacon Heights together in the pitch black to open up to this wondrous view that I have loved to share with so many of my clients. It’s so fascinating to watch how these images change from a soft blue to a dramatic, bright gold as the sun rose. I always tell my clients that when I love a shot, they’re going to hear me start making noises and squealing. I was squealing non-stop for this session. I told Lauren she was the epitome of a redheaded beauty and I still stand by that. Take a look for yourself.

Tyler: “Sarah is sneaky, hates surprises, and has to be in the loop about everything. This is a girl who used to search her house high and low as a child to find her Christmas presents. Since I couldn’t take my chances on her doing to same to find this ring, I knew I needed to hide it really well. Once the ring was ready to be picked up I hid it in my office but feared this was too easy of a hiding spot. Sarah hates our basement because it’s dark and has too many critters lurking. We have an old couch down there and I knew it was a perfect hiding spot. She would never stick her hand in there so that’s where it stayed for the few weeks before I proposed.”

Tripp: “I love that Blair is so honest, even though sometimes too honest, but it keeps me in line!”
Blair: “I love that Tripp always makes me feel beautiful and lets me know as soon as he sees me… whether I’m in paint stained clothes or dressed to the nines. He may not be the most romantic but he lets me know how much he cares through his words and actions. I also love that he gives me foot rubs when no one else will!”

“My favorite thing about Christina has always been how happy and cheerful and smiley she is. It just makes her fun to be around. She is very optimistic and encouraging, which complements my ball-of-stress natural state very well. Add that with being 5 feet tall and smokin’ and you just get adorable.”
