A Fall & Halloween Inspired Backyard Wedding | Stuart, VA
I’ve known Sarah and her family for about as long as I’ve loved shooting photos and photography. Sarah’s brother was one of my closest friends in high school. He was a year younger than me and had the same personality and characteristics as one of my younger brothers. Often times I found myself accidentally calling him by my brothers name because they were so similar and he would drive me crazy (just like a brother)! hahahah
When Sarah came to me I felt so honored to be a part of such a special time in her and Auztin’s life. The love they share for each other is so evident in the way they look at each other. At times it felt like these two even forgot I was around – laughing and carrying on with each other. Those moments are when you know it’s real. When there’s no direction given, no posing – just true bliss and full hearts for one another.
Warning – try not to burst with joy for these two.
“She passed me and said I had nice glasses.”
How did the two of you meet?
Auztin: “We met in the lunchroom of our high school. She passed me and said I had nice glasses.”
“Our early years were full of stolen kisses and teachers yelling at us about our P.D.A. in the hallways.”
What was it like early in your relationship?
Auztin: “It was like spending time with a friend I’ve known for years.”
Sarah: “Our early years were full of stolen kisses and teachers yelling at us about our P.D.A. in the hallways.”
Name one thing you love about each other.
Auztin: “I love how caring she is, all of the time.”
Sarah: “I love how hard-working and loyal he is.”
How did Auztin propose?
Sarah: “I was staying in Denver for the semester and Auztin flew out last minute to see me for Valentine’s Day. Being apart made him so excited to pop the question. We had barely made it in the door of my apartment when he handed me a gold plated rose and got down on one knee with the ring.”
