WELCOME TO THE BLOG

Josie | Senior

A Fall Downtown Stuart, VA Senior Session | Stuart, VA

Y’all. This girl has got some spunk. I’ve known this child since she was a baby. We’re cousins. I get to see her about once a year at Thanksgiving dinners (I know – that’s bad). Spending the evening with her and her mom a few weeks ago was such a joy for me.

It’s strange to remember her as a child and then spend time with her as an adult, totally grown up with her own adult voice and her own adult thoughts. LORD this makes me sound old (I’m really not that old – all the mommas are rolling their eyes right now because I’m only approaching 28.)

This girl is well on her way to do GREAT things. You can see the fire in her eyes. She absolutely has what it takes to go far. Josie – I wish you all the luck and success in the world!

P.S. She was voted homecoming queen a few weeks ago!!!!

What emotions and feelings do you experience knowing this is your last year?

Josie: “A little bit sad but mostly excited to see what’s next for me.”

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Josie: “Hopefully living in a big city.”

If you could go back and tell your freshmen self ANYTHING what would it be?

Josie: “Have fun and don’t stress about what other people think of you.”

Outtakes Heather (her mom) did everything she could to make Josie laugh including beating her with flip flops!

A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.
