Welcome!

I'm so very honored that you are considering me to be a part of your big day. Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions you'll make in your wedding planning. You're not only choosing someone that will be by your side during your wedding but also someone that will straighten up loose bobby pins, check your teeth and genuinely calm your spirits. My job as a photographer is to turn your happiness into tangible memories that will become family heirlooms.

Timeless photography for couples who wish to turn their
memories into heirlooms.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes your work different from other photographers'?

I never want my images to be edited with the trends. I want to remain true to classic and traditional style. When you sit down to show your grandchildren your wedding portraits, I want your photographs to look timeless and not dated with heavy filters or edits. Natural light is always best.

how many photographers will be at our wedding?

I offer wedding collections for one-two photographers. If two photographers are not included in your selected package, you can always add one for an additional cost.
If you plan to have 130 guests or more, I suggest having a second photographer.

do i have to order prints through you?

I highly recommend ordering prints through your online gallery but it is not required. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so I encourage clients to let me help!

do you have a list of preferred vendors to use?

I sure do! From wedding coordinators to florists and caterers, I have worked with some of the best small businesses' in the industry and would be happy to share their information with you! Please continue scrolling on this page for my list of favorites.

Will we receive all edited & unedited photos of our day?

You will receive every great photo possible. During a photoshoot, I'm making real-time adjustments to lighting to create the perfect shot. I'm also trying to take bursts to avoid eye-blinks, blurry photos and open mouths. My job at that point is to discard the eye-blinks and my own test shots to select the real pieces of art. I take those shots and spend a great deal of time working with them by hand to tone the color, smooth imperfections and produce heirlooms.

how soon will i receive my images?

Image processing can take up to 6-8 weeks. Don't fret! You'll receive plenty of sneak peeks along the way to keep you warm!

How do we reserve our date?

A 25% non-refundable reservation fee and signed contract are required to secure your date on my calendar. Your reamining balance is not due until two weeks before your wedding date. You may make any payments until then via credit card online, mailing a check or cash.

can we meet before my big day?

Absolutely! I prefer it. This is where engagement sessions come in handy! This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other better and be more comfortable. Remember, I'm going to be the one checking your teeth and adjusting bobby pins!

do you photograph elopements?

I would be honored! Depending on availability and the number of hours you have set aside for photography, ask me for pricing!

we are having a destination wedding. do you travel?

Yes! I love destination weekends and have been lucky enough to travel for several. Send me more information on your plans and I will create a custom wedding collection to suite your needs. For most venues, mileage and private accommodations are required. Let's chat!

I'm newly married to my life partner, Garrett, and lover of our three kittens (full grown 8 year old cats). We live in the beautiful Blue Ridge of Boone, NC.

I'm a real redhead, musician, yogi,  board game enthusiast, sweets addict, newish cake baker and a lover of interior design.

I'm inspired by all things fresh, clean and colorful. I'm drawn to rich colors and white space which inspires my photographic style.

I always tell my clients that going through their images after my time with them is like unwrapping birthday presents over and over!

Photography is generational for me: from my great-grandfather to my father, then on to myself. My style is fresh, colorful, clean and classic. As much as I like neutrals, I'm still a vibrant and colorful girl at heart!

I am not trendy. I never want my images to be hip. I want to remain true to classic and traditional style. When you sit down to show your grandchildren your wedding portraits, I want your photographs to look timeless and not dated with heavy filters or edits. Natural light is always best.

I strive to show you off in the most beautiful way possible while still staying true to scene.

I know you have unlimited options when it comes to choosing a photographer. It means the world that you are considering me to document one of the most important days of your life.
I don't take that for granted, ever.

- Megan
